TELEHEALTH

The Australian Government has recently announced new GP Telehealth services. You are now eligible to book a TELEHEALTH CONSULTATION with your GP. You can book a Telehealth appointment on our website or by phoning the practice.

Burwood Healthcare are working hard to ensure our patients have access to care during the current COVID-19 pandemic. You can speak to your doctor over the phone or video call during your TELEHEALTH CONSULTATION. A  small fee will apply at the time of booking your appointment.

Burwood Healthcare can now SMS or Email your electronic script to you. This will save you from needing to receive a paper based script. Simply take your QR Code to your participating pharmacy to have your script filled. Your doctor will inform you at the time of your TELEHEALTH CONSULTATION if a face-to-face visit is required.

Burwood Healthcare have implemented practices to ensure all staff, doctors and patient are safe during their time at the practice.

COVID 19

Burwood Healthcare is continuing to work hard to bring you all your healthcare needs during this time. We are constantly working to keep our practice safe for all visiting patients, our staff and your doctors.
We ask all our patients to telephone the practice if they are experiencing fever, sudden onset of coughing and respiratory difficulties and NOT TO ATTEND THE PRACTICE WITHOUT PHONING AHEAD.
  • Patients should be aware that testing for the COVID-19 virus will not be conducted without symptoms.

  • Patients requiring testing for COVID-19 will currently need to attend one of the 5 clinics across Melbourne to be tested. High Risk patients will be triaged at these centres.
